How To Maximize Your PPC Campaigns ? Friendsninr

There is no need for anxiety if you are currently experiencing rising water levels that are becoming more difficult to deal with. Anyone with experience in substance abuse counselor will understand what we mean and maybe even have a chuckle about it. Once you get to a point where your business is in the black, then you will be in a position to hire contracted help - something that can have a dramatic affect on your business. Take a look at all you do, and you just may find a way to create hybrid approaches that will give you even more leverage. But we would caution you to learn about it, first, and even gain some experience with implementing it. However, regardless of how you approach outsourcing or anything else, just recover and roll with any mistakes you may make.

Pay per click advertising is widely recognized as the best way to generate lots of targeted website traffic in a short time. This method of advertising is hard to beat for getting instant website visitors who are also likely to by buyers of your product or service. If you want to profit with PPC, however, you have to understand that getting your ads highly placed and outbidding your competitors will not necessarily be enough for you to succeed. PPC is like any other internet marketing technique in that it demands a certain amount of research before you can launch a successful campaign of your own. Or else you will definitely be running the risk of wasting a lot of your time and money when trying your hand at PPC to reach your target market. Here are some proven tips to guide you when you plan your PPC strategy.

For your PPC campaigns to be effective, you should make sure to do keyword testing consistently. Nothing is more important than testing when it comes to running successful PPC campaigns. It's necessary to do both split testing and keyword testing for your ads. Depending on what your niche is, you want to narrow down your keywords to the ones that are the most profitable. If you are in the fishing niche, your keywords need to be related to fishing and be precise. Get into your customers' shoes and think what they would use to search, what kind of keywords make sense. There are many good keyword tools available online that you can use for free for your research. Try to find keywords that have high search volume but not too much competition. Keywords without many searches or too much competition won't be profitable. Do proper testing so that your campaign gets good returns and saves you money. A smart move any business can make is testing everything that is done. Take today for example as you are learning something new regarding free credit cards, and you can do a partial campaign which would actually be a test campaign. Tools such as various forms of testing, and we have only briefly touched on it, are what those who are most serious will ever do; not those who are lazy or looking for fast money.

But you see, when you have a set of circumstances such as failing to do adequate research, or not testing along with impatience, then you can easily see how volatile that is for the struggling web marketer. Therefore what you should consider is carefully rolling-out anything new you want to try. If it is related to email marketing, then you take a small percentage of your list and perform a simple test.

Remember there is no reason to over-engineer any kind of test, and remember that any type of marketing or advertising test on your sites need to include the appropriate tracking scripts. Obviously, some type of script that will record test results will be needed. Your PPC ads are just like classified ads, so say something about benefits. This will improve your ad click through rate. People are always on the lookout for copy that discusses what they will get out of a particular product. People generally respond better to ads if it makes them feel like they can get an incredible deal on something.

In order to get a high quality score for your ads, you should make sure that the keywords you're targeting and ad copy should relate. There should also be a good match between your ads and your website or landing page or your quality score will suffer. Since people who click on an ad are seeking an offer that is relevant, this practice will help your conversions too. Overall, PPC advertising is all about taking calculated risks. So be sure to get educated first, then follow the advice of experts and proceed with caution - and common sense.

Even though we know these ideas and approaches have great profit potential, we do not know if they are suitable for your model. One thing is certain, though, and that is perhaps 99% of any kind of online venture can stand to have more promotional methods put to work. A lot of people can sometimes slip back into a lazier approach to their businesses if they are making solid profits and maybe begin outsourcing work, etc. But so it goes, and it is a form of survival of the fittest in business and in life. The fabled "autopilot" internet business based on almond milk or anything else is a myth, number one, and it is also playing with fire for reasons we have just talked about. There is massive competition on the net, and you take that plus the unknowns such as the climate changing or policy changes and that should get your attention. substance abuse is a terrifying and horrific ordeal for all involved

(AP) ? Boston stayed close enough until the New York Knicks failed again. This time, it was because of the Celtics' defense.

Paul Pierce scored 30 points and Ray Allen had nine of his 14 in the final quarter to lift the Celtics to a 91-89 win over the struggling Knicks on Friday night.

Hanging close until they finally caught New York midway into the final quarter, Celtics coach Doc Rivers kept telling his team that it would be defense that would make the difference.

It was. On the Knicks' final two possessions, it was someone other than Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire that were forced to take the final two shots.

"I just said, 'Guys, our defense is bailing us out. This is going to be a defensive win,'" Rivers said. "You rarely say you 'steal a game' at home, but that's how it felt."

Kevin Garnett finished with 15 points and eight boards for the Celtics, who won for the seventh time in eight games.

Anthony scored 26, Tyson Chandler had 20 with 11 rebounds and Stoudemire had 16 with 11 rebounds for the Knicks. New York lost for the 11th time in 13 games.

"They were doubling and doing a good job. That's why other guys had to step up and make shots." New York coach Mike D'Antoni said about his team's final two shots.

Boston got the win despite shooting just 38.9 percent in the second quarter and 31.8 in third.

"It's good when you find way to win," Pierce said. "Things really weren't going our way."

Garnett grabbed his 10,000th career defensive rebound early in the second quarter, becoming the third player in NBA history to reach that mark. He's behind former Celtic Robert Parish (10,117) and Karl Malone (11,406).

Boston point guard Rajon Rondo returned after missing the previous eight games with a right wrist injury, but was ineffective, scoring just seven points and getting seven assists.

After Iman Shumpert's jumper from the right corner closed the score to 85-83, Allen nailed a 3 from the right wing. Following a putback by Chandler, Allen caught the ball in the right corner, drove the baseline and hit a left-hander that rolled in, giving the Celtics a 90-85 lead with just under 2 minutes left.

But the Knicks battled back, closing the gap to one after an alley-oop layup by Chandler and a steal and breakaway layup by Landry Field with 1:26 left.

Following a miss by Pierce, Anthony missed a drive, but the ball went out of bounds off Brandon Bass' hands, giving New York another chance.

But the Knicks turned it over. Pierce had what appeared to be an off-balance 3-pointer with 14.4 seconds left as the shot clock expired. But the officials overruled it following a reply review.

Fields missed a 3 from the left corner with 6 seconds left and Pierce grabbed the rebound and was fouled. He hit the first, but missed the second.

"It's right there. It's just the moment you get over that hump." Fields said. "Just got to get over it. Nothing much you can really say about it."

Steve Novak airballed a desperation 3 and Garnett batted the ball down the floor as time expired.

On Thursday, Stoudemire missed a shot from beyond his normal range ? a 3 with 11.9 seconds left that would have tied the score in a 105-102 loss to Chicago.

"It's definitely not a great feeling right now," he said. "Winning is always what we play the game for. It brings joy when you win. Right now we're not winning, so it's a little bit difficult to deal with."

Boston, which trailed since late in the opening quarter, tied it at 77 on Chris Wilcox's two free throws with 7:13 to play. The teams traded baskets and remained tied until Allen nailed a 3 from the right side with 4:24 to play. It was his first basket of the second half.

New York had a six-point halftime lead and increased it to 67-55 on Anthony's off-balance jumper midway into the third quarter. Both teams then played sloppily, turning the ball over numerous times and missing jumpers as the Knicks maintained at least a nine-point edge until late in the quarter.

Boston scored the final seven points of the third, cutting it to 72-69 after three when Wilcox had a putback of Pierce's miss at the buzzer.

With the crowd a little extra excited with the Patriots playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday, it appeared to help get the teams energized early, with both teams appearing to play tough defense from the start.

Notes: Stoudemire had a season-high 34 points in a loss at home against Chicago on Thursday. ... Rondo was hit in the face with an elbow early in the game and had a welt under his right eye. ... With his team struggling to get wins, D'Antoni wasn't worried before the game about minutes with his team playing the second of three in three nights. "We'll see how everybody responds, but we need to win this game," he said. The Knicks host New Jersey on Saturday. ... Boston reserve G/F Marquis Daniels missed the game with a foot injury. ... Rivers joked about the Boston-New York rivalry. "A lot of love," he said, smiling, before talking about the Super Bowl matchup between the Patriots and Giants. "These two cities have a pretty good game coming up on Sunday, too." ... Rivers was given a technical in the second quarter and Stoudemire got one midway into the third after being called for an offensive foul.

Justin Bieber, Jonah Hill hosting "SNL?" (Reuters)

LOS ANGELES, Jan 31 (TheWrap.com) ? Justin Bieber is confirmed as a first-time host and return musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" -- at least that's what Alec Baldwin revealed during his "Here's the Thing" podcast on WNYC.

Baldwin traveled to 30 Rock -- specifically, the office of "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels -- to chat with Michaels about his career and the late-night series. While describing Michaels' office, Baldwin focused in on a bulletin board that holds the names of "SNL" hosts for the whole season.

"The biggest names in the business are coming here thirty-something years (after the show's 1975 debut) to host the show," Baldwin says. "You have Ben Stiller, Melissa McCarthy, (who) won the Emmy award, and Katy Perry's coming and Jimmy Fallon, who's obviously double-dipping on your payroll, Jonah Hill, and I don't want to ruin any other names . Bieber's confirmed, he's the music and the (host)" .

"Yeah," Michaels replies.

Baldwin himself is the record holder for most times hosting "SNL," marking his 16th time as host with his stint as the season 37 premiere host in September.

Meanwhile, Oscar nominee Jonah Hill will make his second appearance as "SNL" host -- for the March 10 episode -- EW.com reports.

NBC did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment on upcoming "SNL" hosts.

Diabetes drugs tied to pancreatic cancer risk (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) ? A new study links the diabetes drug metformin to fewer cases of pancreatic cancer -- at least in women -- but finds other diabetes medications are associated with a higher risk of the disease.

The differences in medication history among people who did or didn't get pancreatic cancer were small, researchers said, and it's unclear why the drugs might affect cancer risks in men and women differently.

Still, the new finding is in line with previous research suggesting that metformin may decrease the risk of multiple cancers, said Dr. Peter Butler, a diabetes researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine, who wasn't involved in the new study.

"One theme that seems to be coming through... is that the oldest drug we have for diabetes, metformin, is undoubtedly the best drug we have for diabetes," he told Reuters Health.

Pancreatic cancer is relatively rare as far as cancers go, but progresses quickly; most people don't survive more than a couple years after diagnosis. The National Cancer Institute estimates that about 44,000 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States this year, and close to 38,000 will die from the disease.

Research has suggested that people with pancreatic cancer may have an increased risk of diabetes, but it's unclear how diabetes -- and the drugs used to treat it -- may affect pancreatic cancer risks in previously cancer-free people.

To help answer that question, Dr. Christoph Meier of the University Hospital Basel in Switzerland and his colleagues consulted a database of more than eight million people in the UK, including about 2,800 who were diagnosed with pancreatic cancer between 1995 and 2009.

For each of those people, they found another six of the same age and gender that didn't have pancreatic cancer to serve as a comparison group.

Using records from primary care doctors, the researchers determined how many people in the pancreatic cancer and cancer-free groups had previously been diagnosed with diabetes and were on an anti-diabetes drug, such as metformin or sulfonylureas, which include glimepiride and glyburide.

Those drugs cause the body to make or absorb less glucose (metformin) or to produce more insulin (sulfonylureas) to keep blood sugar levels in check.

One in nine people with pancreatic cancer had a prior diagnosis of diabetes, compared to about one in twelve in the cancer-free comparison group, according to findings published Tuesday in the American Journal of Gastroenterology.

According to their medical records, two percent of people with pancreatic cancer had been taking metformin long-term before they were diagnosed, compared to 1.6 percent of the group without cancer -- a difference that could have been due to chance.

But when the researchers separated the records by gender, they found that significantly fewer women with a new diagnosis of pancreatic cancer had been taking metformin for at least a few years, compared to cancer-free women.

That was after the researchers had already taken into account whether women were overweight or obese and if they smoked or drank alcohol.

The association in one gender but not the other was "somewhat unexpected," according to Meier's team, and there's no clear biology-based way to explain why metformin might help protect women against pancreatic cancer, but not men.

The findings were reversed for insulin and sulfonylureas in the study population. Significantly more people with pancreatic cancer had a history of long-term use of those drugs than cancer-free people.

Craig Currie, who has studied diabetes drugs and cancer at the Cardiff University School of Medicine in the UK, said it makes sense that insulin and sulfonylureas would increase the risk of pancreatic cancer. Insulin promotes cancer growth, he said, and also acts directly on the pancreas.

The study's investigators "raise doubts about these treatments," he told Reuters Health in an email.

"There is a possibility that exogenous insulin (insulin that's not made naturally by the body) is of questionable safety in people with type 2 diabetes," added Currie, who didn't participate in the new research.

Still, absolute differences in medication use were small even in people with cancer: less than one percent of those with or without pancreatic cancer had taken insulin long-term. Sulfonylurea users accounted for just over three percent of people with a new pancreatic cancer diagnosis and two percent without cancer.

Butler said it's hard to tease out what cancer risks may be due to the drugs, and what could be a result of poor diet and lack of exercise, for example, in people with diabetes. He said that more research will be needed to tease out those specific effects.

"Honestly for patients at this point, I think this is another piece of the jigsaw puzzle," Butler said.

"This paper in itself would not cause me to recommend a change in treatment for people."

That said, Butler concluded that evidence suggests most people with type 2 diabetes who don't have any medical reasons not to take metformin should be on the drug, either alone or in combination with other anti-diabetes medications.
